Opening of Organic Park in Gurgaon :

India’s first certified Organic Recreational Park was officially inaugurated in Gurgaon as a joint initiative between ORGANIC INDIA, the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) and the Residents Welfare Association of Gurgaon. ORGANIC INDIA has undertaken the responsibility to maintain the lawn and gardens in line with SGS certification standards, demonstrating how even recreational parks can flourish when organically grown - no chemicals required! Residents of the area, particularly those who are regular early morning walkers, enjoy the organic lawns and gardens of Tulsi. Occasionally our team joins to dispense free samples of Tulsi tea and even to offer free general health talks and check ups by qualified health practitioners.

Blood Donation Drive

Tulsi Mahotsava

Tulsi Mahotsava, the world’s only agricultural festival to honor the Queen of Herbs, is the most cherished occasion for celebration on the calendar since 2003 for Tulsi farming villages. The festival also offers tribute to the Tulsi farmers who converted the ravaged soil into fields of prosperity in the villages surrounding Azamgarh and now, Rath and beyond. ORGANIC INDIA initiated the tradition together with a handful of dedicated farmers, employees and associates. The gala ethnic festivals have been celebrated across India and around the world during the harvest month of November, amidst songs of praise and devotion for Mother Tulsi!

Health Camp at the State Ayurvedic College

ORGANIC INDIA regularly organizes free Health Camps for check ups and consultations, such as this Diabetic Health Camp conducted at the State Ayurvedic College in Lucknow. Qualified doctors are present to conduct physical examinations and prescribe herbal formulas according to indications. We offer free Health Camp check ups for a variety of health issues in conjunction with organizations, institutes and colleges primarily in U.P. and nearby North India states. Celebrating World Earth Day 2012

On the occasion of World Earth Day, ORGANIC INDIA organized a cycle rally to take the issue of environmental responsibility to the streets! Many members of the ORGANIC INDIA family enthusiastically participated in the rally. During the celebrations, each participant was encouraged to realize the significance of every effort made to support the environment. We also thought it was the perfect opportunity to honor the ragpickers of our community for their tireless dedication and service to Mother Nature.

Blanket Distribution at Rath & Azamgarh

ORGANIC INDIA distributes blankets to farmers every winter, especially for those who have no heating in their homes. These events at Rath & Azamgarh were lead by our MD & Global CEO, Mr. Krishan Gupta. As part of the events, Mr. Krishan Gupta addressed the farmers with a highly motivating speech, thanking them for their contribution.
 

ORGANICON

In November 2010, over 250 medical professionals and experts from all over the world wholeheartedly participated in the ORGANICON knowledge sharing forum on the importance of organic medicines in clinical practice. Co-hosted by ORGANIC INDIA and the International Institute of Herbal Medicine, this event became the catalyst for extraordinary collaborative developments through the formation of AHIMSA, the Association for Holistic Integrative Medical Science in Action, signifying unprecedented advancements in Holistic Health Care.

BioFach 2013, Germany

Germany’s Biofach Expo is the World’s largest fair and knowledge sharing platform for the organic sector. This year’s 2013 Biofach attracted trade visitors from 129 countries, with nearly 2,400 exhibitors. In 2012, India was nominated as the Country of the Year, and our CEO & Global MD Mr Krishan Guptaa was invited to facilitate the event as an organic market leader. Here our partners in Germany and the Czech Republic enthusiastically joined in conversations with stall visitors and journalists from around the world curious about our herbal products and innovative business practices.
